Amazing Mondays

Well, another Monday gone by.  This is my last Monday with no school at this juncture.  I kind of enjoyed it.  I helped Matthew with his school and then we went and played with the most precious little girls, they are 4 and 2.  Matthew took a break from his school work to let them dress him up and chase him around, HA!  I have such an awesome son.

I will say this about my precious little man (who will soon be bigger than me).  He is really tolerant and patient.  He lets these little ones that I care for chase him around and even catch him from time to time.  He lets them dress him up or push him down or crawl on him or any number of other things and just laughs!

How is it that I am so blessed?  I believe it is because I have not kept him away from others of different ages.  I have not enforced the societal requirement that children must only play with those their age.  I believe that it is important for children to know how to play with others, regardless of age.  This means learning acceptable ways to play with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, etc...  This will enable them, as adults, to tolerate and work well with people of all maturity levels.

I am proud of him...  For my picture and haiku of the day I will be featuring Matthew and a couple of really cute little girls...
